brain drain...birthday

So this is where my brain is right now...

I went to get the 'call back' mammogram today. The lovely tech took 2 views and then ran them to the radiologist while I waited.... back for 2 more with a magnifing disc, run those in- but she gave me a magazine to look at... right.... came back and took 3 more.... finally I got to leave... my mind is racing and I have made my own diagnosis in my head. Luckly, my MD is in the same bldg... they know me well and so I ran by and had a chat. I got an Rx for zanax- yep I was shaking in my flip flops... She read the report and had it to me online before I got home...

Anyway:
Seem that my lymph node in the R breast has some issues. I dont get the report. My sister listened as I read itto her on the phone- she an old retired tech- she gets it and tells me that the lymph node has some issues... the radiologist wants to me to come back in 6 mos to see if there is any difference.
HOWEVER, she doesnt know the real me! I will have videos for all the kids milestone, a funeral planned, and various other items prepared. I already have a pounding headache and have 'spazrea'... our family defination for me when I have the runs from being spastic....So I will see a surgeon within a couple of weeks and get an opinion from her. I guess most people could live with the report but I want to know whats there and how to get it out of me....

I know God doesnt give you more than you can handle... but I really dont want to see if I could handle something. I know there are tons of people that would be delighted with this mammogram since the have either stage 3 or 4 cancer. I also know my dad died from cancer at 58, so thats always in the back of my head.. thats why I need to have this decided now and not in 6 mos.


So happy birthday to me and I will eat lots of cake, drink lots of water and take a couple of zanax - or as my sister calls them- my dont give a shit pills!

Off to Paris... get your things... its my birthday

Oh girls... we need a girlfriend getaway...come on I will pay... Pack light we are going in this car once we get to Paris... is that a great place to go for the week? Because its my birthday week. Yep, I have a birthday all week long...

I saw this little apt for our weekend stay... we can stay In the quaint town and walk to supper and even to town to do some shopping... don't worry I will buy everything you want... hmmm, I wonder who has walked along these roads... perhaps royalty, a knight, a fair maiden, but for now It will be for us!

Oh, I am soooo hungry. lets stop at this little bistro and have some croissants, coffee, and a bit of dessert! We can stay all day and people watch, visit and just relax...

This is where we will stay for the remainder of our week. We are in the middle of Paris... look out the window and you can see the Eiffel Tower, the maid and butler will take wonderful care of us.... would you like a cook also! Oh, he/she will only use the best butter and cheese for us!

Tomorrow will will shop on the Rue de Paris! Spend some time at the spa and also shop for some lovely shoes and purses.... Oh yea we need to run by and get some yummies from the bakery! Masion Kayser is a lovely bakery....

Friday night funnies

I FOUND THE DRESS... yep this one I wanted for Lance and Laura's wedding next spring... It was on sale for 50% off..... yippee its now in the mail to me!!!!!!!

Oh lets see what has happened in the past week...

- grammer had a stroke and we almost lost her... she is ready to go to heaven

- I made a fast trip to OKC to see grammer...

-Kristyn- my niece was rear-ended and sent her to the hospital, yep the one that is 6 mos pregnant... she and Payton are home and great.

-hubs and I did the offering for 3 nights at Okla Annual Methodist Conference at BAUMC...

- hubs and I worked the catering kitchen and served 6 catered meals during 2 days at conference...

- my mammogram came back with some questions.... I go back next week... yep, I crappin out!

- started summer camp at New Haven... lots of fun, but hot hot hot

- bought too much stuff to take to Houston for Payton Grace...

- nice pedicure for moi

-ran errand today....

- hopefully next week will be a bit slower

Garth and recital

Hubs and I went to the tippi toes dance recital...i took him to sonic so it was a date... elke,ashley and nora. all dressed up so adorable... elke just stood on the stage and finally sat down...ashley danced once she got over the stage shock...nora flittered like only she can. it was cute! Lilly was there too, but i dont have a pic....

I went to run errands in Owasso this afternoon! you know when you wear t-shirt, gym shorts-that are probably the boys, hair in a pony tail and no makeup at all! Yep Garth was there too. I ran into him literally in the plastic tubs area! I just said hi and went on. Then he got in line behind me and I remembered I had never asked for autograph for the boys. So I did. here they are....

He is in and around Owasso so much that most people just leave him alone. No one else really bothered him today in Target...'cept me! oh well, we had a nice conversation about the boys, OSU and hubs. Then we all went our separate ways!

Thursday ramblings

Lots of people have asked why we had a snake in the backyard... because this is at the end or our yard. 10 acres of wilderness. well not exactly wilderness, but country.

These are my beautiful babies! We are growing blackberries- my all time favorite fruit! Mike is talking to them every night and we are coaching them to bloom and thrive.... if you want to be my very best friend in all the world... bring me a blackberry cobbler and vanilla ice cream and I will love you forever, or at least while Im eating the cobbler... one time I told my second graders that story and i had 2 cobblers the very next day. nothin better than a child's gramma makin their teacher a cobbler!

Yes, I got my pink flamingos! I an totally in love with them. I have 6 of them in the backyard. 2 are at preschool for the summer to be part of my class zoo. I have not names them yet. but bet your bottom dollar one will be Sloane... maybe I will have sloan 1, sloan 2.... No one will name their baby Sloan Kathleen... isnt that beautiful??? Well, the only one I know having a baby girl is my niece and she said NO! hurt my feelers she did. not really!

This is our first tomato! Hubs babies once again. It was a hanging plant until the storm came, not its in a pot poor thing... it almost died

My patio furniture is not really pink as it looks in the picture... its red.

I got my hair cut and color today. ran some errands and hubs and I are going to watch the 3 yr old girls in a recital tonight. Miss Ashley really want miss penny and her 'daddy'- Mike to come. I cant say no!!!!
