 My sweet little great niece... you know Payton Grace, she lives in Conroe Tx and calls me every night...right.
Any way she is gettin sooooo big and I have not seen her since Jan.... I might need to jump on a plane and go for a week

Lance and Laura baby dog Bama is very sick.. She was born in December and has been great until Monday ... they took her to the vet and she has underdeveloped kidneys... they went to Ok State Univ Vet School yesterday for more testing and an ultrasound and yes, same diagnosis... so she is beginning a new diet and the prognosis is not good... prayers for them.

   opps this is sideways and I cant rotate it right now... but this was a special present from Ryan for momma. Lance and Laura got me 2 beautiful necklaces and Ryan already got me a book I wanted so this was very unexpected...

Other than that we are just tootle'n along in life.  I am working 2 days a week at Bloomingdeals Consignment Store in Owasso, Ok . Love interacting with people. I am finding that sometimes they just need to visit with someone. I believe this is a bit of a ministry for me. I am blessed as well by them... God works in mysterious ways.

My mom gets back from England and Scotland today. I am excited to hear about her trip.

Time to water the yard... I promise to post more often... been really lazy

No I have not disappeared from the face of the earth... Just tired and didn't have much to say!

But, my buddy Cash was having trouble staying asleep so I sent him a "special" pillow case washed in "secret special soap" that is guaranteed to keep any little boy or girl asleep all night long. you can read about it here. http://www.lifewithabq.blogspot.com/     Its adorable!

Anyhow back to the family.

this is son #1 and his girlfriend Sarah. Well, he has a new job... Sheehan Enterprises. He is doing air monitoring as a subcontractor... but he had to have a chest x ray last Monday. All was not well with that, as he had a spot on his lung near the spine. Being the spastic mother.. my mind went crazy as did my whole being. But he had a CT Scan Friday and all  is well. He has a 'normal vascular anomaly' huh, that's what I said too. Translation: he is weird but normal.  whew! Thanks God for normal abnormal kids .


Next week is Easter. when do you stop making Easter Baskets for the children. Yes, I still make them for the boys and their sweet wives/girlfriends! I know, I know its time to give it up... the boys are 27 and 28! seriously... but next week we will have Easter baskets and a 'money loaded' Easter egg hunt... Help am I a crazy momma?????

So, Have you bought groceries lately? Gee.. I went for my normal shopping trip... $400. for groceries. WE are planting the garden I tell you. Its horrible.

 Last night we went to the final performance for the TU School of Drama and Theater... it was at the Joint that's in the casino! So hubs and I played the slots... I spent a whopping $6.00 and lost it ... hubs spent $8.00 and lost it!  Then this morning in Sunday School we only had bigs bills for offering. Well, if that's not an old kick in the hiney ... a fool and his money are easily parted and they you need to pay big to God the next day. hehehe. I didn't even have 50cents for the Upper Room!   But the performance was wonderful.... they sell season tickets each year and they are great. What a wonderful way to introduce the performing arts to your kids and the tickets are very reasonable.. see ya there next year. They are usually at TU.

 See this house.... Yep, I want to sell my house and build one just like it on the ten acres -family land we have north of town.  The boys want to build there too. I have a little place picked out right by the pond. I wont bother them at ALL, and the babies can just run over for ice cream and fun and nini's house.  Oh wait I don't have grand babies yet. Well, by the time the house is built I will maybe

body cleanse

 Have you ever done a body cleanse?  You know the one where you  fast, cleanse and regroup your bodily cells. Ya, that one.  My family will think I crazy, but whatever. I am always trying this or that to rid my body of fibromyalgia and pain... So this came to me and I am pondering, it. I would really love to go to the clinic in Boulder and look up at the beautiful trees...

spring is here

Spring is here and spring break is over for the 'school' clan.  I always want to go somewhere like we used to during spring break,. but in the past 9 months, I have been to Nicaragua, cruise to Mexico, New York City and to Houston . So my traveling is over for a long while.... nevertheless, Ryan had been working on projects at our house... pics tomorrow... The picture above is what I am going to do to the cabinets by the sink.... shhhhhh dont tell hubs. he will just come home from work and it will be all done.

 I am in a wonderful Bible Study on Friday.  We are studying the Book of John. Its really good. My Bible is old... you know the paper thin KJ version. So I bought this Wesley Study Bible the other day.... great purchase...

Now just inn case you want me to go on a trip for spring... please send the appropriate funds, I would love to be strolling this street. its in Paris by the way, I would like to stay near the Eiffel Tower and spend about 7-10 days there. I would like to have a vehicle available to take me everywhere and especially to the flea markets. so whose up for this?????

I've had better days...

Yep. those light greeted me this afternoon... I needed to return a punch bowl thingy I borrowed from by BFF Pam. She has a catering business. I parked behind her car cause there were not any places to park... I left my flasher on and ran in with the bowl... I as there maybe 20 seconds and got an $85.00 ticket! Seriously...
I understand that this particular officer has given tickets to the UPS man too.  Seriously I could have bought a really cute outfit. I hope they use my $85.00 to buy something really cute in place of my outfit.

what happened...

 So, this is what happened... I went to the dentist the other day... it was just for cleaning, but I was really good and when I was little my momma would buy me a present if I didnt bite the dentist and be really good. So I of course carry on that tradition. I mean really why stop now.  So I wanted a few Aveda products.  I got to the Mall- have not been there for months. I went to the Aveda store and that's where it all happened. I got : bath gel, bath scrub, bath lotion... shampoo- this big size, conditioner, styling goo stuff... I got facial cleaner, toner,moisturizer and scrub... that's when the worst thing of all happened.... the register tallied up my sale. Heavenly days! glory be, holy crap... But at least I will look good, smell pretty and be organic. hmmm.
We wont need to eat this month... right.

 So, If you see me... tell me how nice I smell and how pretty my hair is and how lovely my skin looks, come on now,,, it will only be a little white story and it will help me when I get hungry this month.... Oh yea, we wont share this with hubs... Okey dokey.

I think I will make one for the store- you know Bloomingdeals... not my store, but sorta like my store, I get to do the artistic stuff and I don't have to make the payroll or do business junk... just play.  But back to the light .It need a couple of these for the window . So stinkin cute... my silhouette can handle this ...

The weather hers is crazy. I went in to Home Depot to get some outside lights. The temp on the car was 62. I came out 5 minutes later and the temp was 48. Gotta love Oklahoma...

Lance and Laura are on their cruise... having fun in the sun for a honeymoon....
