Oh my heavens... guess who is one month old. Well she was last week... I cant believe that she has been her for a month. She is changing and growing every day. I just love those chubby cheeks!  You know how stinkin cute chubby cheeks, arms and legs are on babies, then darn they are not cute on adults.....

 I had to make a run to Target this morning... Ryan got a free drink  in the mail from my favorite place Starbucks... so I used it! Gotta love a passion fruit lemonade.

 The lake house is clean, the grounds are clean, the AC is fixed and we are ready for the 4th of July... Yummy food and great family times... Hubs got a tent for Abby so she wont get hot... its only 16X20.... ha ha we always go big or go home...Ryan has a new boat so we hope to do some fun in the sun!

 I need to go here, really I do. I just need to find an investor~ I could bring back photo's and try places to eat and of course try some spa's.  Hubs doesnt like the beach in the heat of the summer. but I love it.... Let me know if you want to sponsor me.

 Have you read this book. I saw it at Target today. I have heard its really full of sexual exploits... I just dont think I will be reading it.  A few of my friends have kidded me for ever because I have never seen a pron movie. NO, I HAVE NOT!  I really just dont want those images in my head, so I just dont think I want to read about it either. Is that what this is about... You know I love a good 'summer smut' book, but I dont want ragged porn.... let me know if you have read it....

Friday Funnies

I am really liking Emma Bridgewater pottery. I would love to start collecting her beautiful things. They are made in England and I love all things British... cause you know I am so royal!!!

Anyway this is one of her plates.

Got to see my lil sugar lump this week. I order from Bountiful Basket and she and her mommy came to pick up theri basket. We snuggled and cuddled for an hour while her mommy- Laura and I sipped on our sweet tea and got caught up on all things that have to do with that sweet baby girl!

Last Friday night I went to Vintage Market  with my friend Pam. It was mucho hot be we had a blaast. we crammed all of out stuff into the Jeep and made out quite well... we were dust and gross afterwards, but that didnt stop us from going to the mall later, then drive through McD's for a burger!

This is what I bought. not the pile of papers, but the windmill. Its now  out in my garden.... love it.

This week had been hot and hotter. I saw in my car the temp was 110 degrees... whew its bad.... Getting ready for the 4th of July party at the lake house... We went up today and the AC is out... meeting the guy in the morning to get it repaired. The guys cleaned and mowed the outside and I clean and mopped the inside.  Time for burgers, boats and beer.... hehe I hate beer... Lemonade and wine for me!

My birthday

My birthday is today... What a great day full of presents for me... But the best was this sweet sugar lump.... Her first trip to nene and poppy's house!!!

Being Nene P

Oh  How much fun it is to be a Nene!  My sister told me it would be but you just never get it... It was remarkable to watch son 2 become a dad! He is so cute with 'little miss sugar lump". Yep, thats what she is a sugar lump!  Anyway, Im trying to be a really good nene and not bother them.. Oh boy that is soooo hard. I could just hold that princess all day and smell her sweet baby smell! 

Oh and her mama! She is so adorable with her.... she just loves that sweetie girl! She is a sonderful mommy! 

Any way, I found a bunch of old bandanas around the house and I think I whip this up for her to have tummy time when I keep her this fall. Yep, thats right... I get to keep her everyday! well every working day. Unless her other grandma wants her for the day.... she might!  Thats Ok I can share... So I will be whippin this up and I will show you when Im finished!

Look at this house... I could just live ther!  There is one kinda like it on the way to son 2's house! Seriously we could all live there!  I coudl share this with the whole family!  Im just pretending to be sitting on that porch sippin my lemonade while reading my summer reading list..... oh, I love dreamin..

But instead I will live in my "paid for" house and hubs and I will put in a new kitchen, build a shed in the back, put wood flooors in and live happily ever after being nene and poppy! 
Its still hard to be a nene... I wish the lived next door and I could peek in the window of her nursery every day!   hehehe.....
