Holiday checklist...

I am thinking about getting things done early for Christmas... seriously its just around the corner... I'm making most of the stuff.... I found a quiet book pattern that I need to get some more felt to start that. I will get going on the other things as well. I have a list and I'm ready to get it checked off soon. Still working on the smocked dress quilt.... I have all nine of the dresses smocked and ready to do the finish work. My mom did the quilt top so  now its just doing the hand work. The quilt is white so I can take it with me ..... more later about that

I have planned to make about 6 of theses for friends...

 This is the little t-shirt I'm working on right now for Payton and Charlie... They are about 6 mo apart. Charlie is Ryan's girlfriend's little girl... so adorable. Its funny M and R have know each other for about 10 yrs, but R and M's brother are best friends and they thought of each other as brother/sister friends... hmmmm now a romance!  anyway, I will finish it this week and add their names to the bottom of the Turkey.

I decorated the house today. Its been so stinkin hot, I have not wantted to do any Fall stuff, but I got that done ... I always  have a tree. I will take the eyeball ornaments off and add pumpkins for November.

I would love to do this for our backyard... hopefully after hubs gets the shed built we can do some landscaping...


Be careful in the sun... all those summers of being a 'sun goddess' are coming back to bite me in the buns!  I had 3 small pre cancer thingy taken off today. Remember when we would put on baby oil and bake our bodies.... yep payback it horrible....
