Sun + football and sweet baby

I'm not the smartest French fry in the bag today! TU played football at 11:00. No sunscreen... I'm sunburned! After halftime when the rest of the family left... ( TU whooped up on Tulane)... Hubs and I went to sit in the Case Center... But geeze I was already burnt!



Oh she is gettin so fun! I'm having a blast keeping her and no she isnt spoiled. I just attend to her every need. I've lost 6 lbs cause there is no time for lunch... Gotta start training her to take a morning and afternoon nap. She likes to cat nap and snuggle with Nene whenever! So... It's time! No comes the how part!!! I've forgotten.

tomorrow

tomorrow I get to start caring for my sweet lil sugar lump! Yep, her mommy is going back to work and miss sugar lump is going to stay with nene!

the house will not be clean, the floors wont be mopped, the laundry wont be done and cooking will not begin until after 5:00, cause I'm going to enjoy every little second of this amazing baby girl.

I feel so privileged to be close enough to care for her! She is such a blessing. and YES! I will make her behave, but she will be spoiled with love.  Its hard to leave your little one when you go back to work, I remember doing that with the boys, but hopefully they will know just how much this means to me to keep her safe and loved each and every day!

Oh my heavens... guess who is one month old. Well she was last week... I cant believe that she has been her for a month. She is changing and growing every day. I just love those chubby cheeks!  You know how stinkin cute chubby cheeks, arms and legs are on babies, then darn they are not cute on adults.....

 I had to make a run to Target this morning... Ryan got a free drink  in the mail from my favorite place Starbucks... so I used it! Gotta love a passion fruit lemonade.

 The lake house is clean, the grounds are clean, the AC is fixed and we are ready for the 4th of July... Yummy food and great family times... Hubs got a tent for Abby so she wont get hot... its only 16X20.... ha ha we always go big or go home...Ryan has a new boat so we hope to do some fun in the sun!

 I need to go here, really I do. I just need to find an investor~ I could bring back photo's and try places to eat and of course try some spa's.  Hubs doesnt like the beach in the heat of the summer. but I love it.... Let me know if you want to sponsor me.

 Have you read this book. I saw it at Target today. I have heard its really full of sexual exploits... I just dont think I will be reading it.  A few of my friends have kidded me for ever because I have never seen a pron movie. NO, I HAVE NOT!  I really just dont want those images in my head, so I just dont think I want to read about it either. Is that what this is about... You know I love a good 'summer smut' book, but I dont want ragged porn.... let me know if you have read it....

Friday Funnies

I am really liking Emma Bridgewater pottery. I would love to start collecting her beautiful things. They are made in England and I love all things British... cause you know I am so royal!!!

Anyway this is one of her plates.

Got to see my lil sugar lump this week. I order from Bountiful Basket and she and her mommy came to pick up theri basket. We snuggled and cuddled for an hour while her mommy- Laura and I sipped on our sweet tea and got caught up on all things that have to do with that sweet baby girl!

Last Friday night I went to Vintage Market  with my friend Pam. It was mucho hot be we had a blaast. we crammed all of out stuff into the Jeep and made out quite well... we were dust and gross afterwards, but that didnt stop us from going to the mall later, then drive through McD's for a burger!

This is what I bought. not the pile of papers, but the windmill. Its now  out in my garden.... love it.

This week had been hot and hotter. I saw in my car the temp was 110 degrees... whew its bad.... Getting ready for the 4th of July party at the lake house... We went up today and the AC is out... meeting the guy in the morning to get it repaired. The guys cleaned and mowed the outside and I clean and mopped the inside.  Time for burgers, boats and beer.... hehe I hate beer... Lemonade and wine for me!
