some day the calls wont come

Ok- so I scanned the photo, but I didn't rotate it. So turn your head sideways. This is Gram with my boys at my niece's wedding 5 yrs ago.

Gram lives in "the home" in OKC. We call it the all-inclusive home. When she thinks she needs some money, we tell her its all inclusive. It should be for the amount that she pays monthly. Anyway, its a nice private home and they seem to care for her well. She really seems to be getting older each day. Well, she 92 yrs, so I guess that is old. I noticed at Christmas the she is really living in the past more that she used to and she is more confused about who she is and where she is. She has been calling my mother frequently asking questions about her purse, billfold, drivers lic., etc. She seems to be in her childhood town of Buffalo, Ok.

I can generally calm her a bit and get her to listen to the nurses. So tonight as hubs and I were getting ready to go have an anniversary dinner in Owasso, the phone rings. Its Gram. She has not been able to call me in a long time, since she moved from her assisted living center. I miss her calls to chat! This was not a chatty call. She was so confused and scared. She though that I had been there this afternoon and was so frightened that something had happened to one of us. My mom, sister, niece, or me. She couldn't figure out where she was or why she was there. I talked to her and calmed her a bit. I explained that she was confused and she finally understood that she was having some dreams that she thought were real. I explained that she needed to go back to her room to settle in for the night. She finally agreed to do as the nurses told her.

Its seems to come full circle. She cared for us as we were babies. Feeding us, changing us and repeating over and over that our mom and dad would be right back. She reassured us and comforted us, she was and still is my hero! She taught me,"whatever you have to do, just pull up your panties and get it done." Nobody else will do it for you!

It seems now, that its our turn to care for her, feed her, change her and reassure her that things are OK. I welcome those calls no matter how silly they are, cause someday those call won't come and I will miss her!

29 years is a long time!

I cant believe we have been married 29 years! Yep, Monday, Dec 29 is our anniversary. Hubs is treating me to a spa day and something else???

My queeniep gave me a bath in this organic peppermint stuff, dried me with this loud contraption and then put silly bows in my fur! She thinks I look cute, so whatever suits her.

I am suppose to bark Ho Ho and sometimes I do if its a really good treat, but not today, so have a Merry Christmas and dont let her near you with bows!

School was still out today, which was good for me.
I woke up this morning at 3:30 am with what I thought was a sinus headache. I called the Dr at 9 and went on in for a sinus headache and the infected swollen big toe!!! Anywho, I had another migraine! This is just befuddling to me. Is that a word? I am not sure, but it works. Anyway- I took some medicine and they turned out the lights in the room. I waited 10 minutes and most of it was gone. I also got a shot in the hiney and some antibiotics for the sinus / toe infection. I have to chart/ keep track of the migraine. Too many in 6 mos and I need a CT scan of the brain. SCARY to me! If you know me I will have a panic attack just thinkin about it. I generally get on the computer and come up with a diagnosis. But this one I will leave to the DR. I have some new migraine meds that I take at the first onset of a headache.

I dont think they run in the fam., hmmmm do they mom?

The big toe was a result of my home pedicure. Seems I cut the big toe too much! Great, I was just trying to save some dollars.

I am wondering if we will go to school tomorrow. If not I wan tot run to Tulsa and go to a store Tatermash. They have oilcloth and I really want some for my craft table. Also for Moeys dog dish area.

Thursday is Dry Gulch. It may rain, but I will grab umbrellas. We will go anyway.

After I slept for an hour or so, I made some cranberry/orange bread for gifts and I need to get a special thingy made for my BFF's front window at the kitchen. I know she will read this, so she will just hav e to wonder what is????
She made me the most yummmmmmy cheesecake last week with bananas foster sauce and would not let me pay her. Will I will pay her one way or another. This will be soooooooo cuuuuute!

Better go warm up a chicken casserole from last night. Its a little dry so I think I will add a bit of milk to it.


Oh, I almost forgot. This is post number 303! OH my gosh, thats a lot of yakin on my part. So I will give away the blue turquoise and red necklace on the flikr next to the post.

busy snow day

BRRRRR- I was surprised this morning at 6:50 when the phone rang and school was out. Hubs called on his way out of town and said the busses were warming up and movin out, so get up and get goin! A few minutes later... no school.
The streets have a sheet of snow/ice and its so cold for the kids to wait for the busses. We have another snow day tomorrow.

I ran my errands this morning. Put the Jeep in 4 WHD and get going. So tomorrow I can stay at home and hibernate. Except something is wrong with my big toe. Its red, swollen and hurts! I dont know what I have done. Guess I better get into the Dr tomorrow since Im home.

Not much news around here. I have all my Christmas here and wrapped. I am ready to go.

What fun we had at our party tonight. I hope they dont think I am corny with my game we played. We were going to play Bunco, but I forgot the dice at school! duh!!!
Anyway we played a trivia game, because I had 3 little gifts. We ate chili and cheesecake with banana foster sauce! yummo. My pants are getting snug!

Tomorrow after school, I need fills for my nails and meet with a bride at BAUMC, then TU BB. Whee...

PEO Christmas Party

We are busy trying to play a game. One team draws a word and they have to think of a Christmas song with that word. Then the other team has to come up with one until one of the teams can think of a song.

Tonight's Christmas party was great. Don't you just love to have a nice clean home with all the decorations up and coffee brewing, carols playing and guest arriving. We had a great time. BFF Pam had some fun games and we ate and exchanged "secret sister" gifts!

One of the girls brought the cuuuutest tree made from broccoli, cauliflower, pretzels, and tomatoes! The top was a yellow pepper. SO CUTEoops, sorry its sideways. Turn your head.. go ahead its worth it!

Tomorrow is the my second grade party, not the kids, the teachers. We are having chili, a cookie exchange and 1 round of Bunco. This will be fun too. Its so great to work with girls that you can hang with too. I think this is the first year in a long time that we are all really working together. The past few years were so stressed that it was all we could do to go to work. Anyway enough of bad thoughts...

We had a terrible wind storm this afternoon. The glass door that goes from the den to the patio flew open and pull it out of the door jam! Hubs was not home yet and I was trying to hang on to it. I finally gave up and let it go. Now we only have the French door. i kind of like it that way

Yep, both of those this week!

We made peppermint candy, you know the ones where you divide and color 2 paper plates, then put them together and cover with saran wrap and tie on the ends. Yep, that one. 21 of those. Thanks goodness a mom came by early and helped. Most of the kids had the saran wrap all over them!

Same mom came in today to help with today's craft. 3D Christmas Trees! Cut out 2 trees. Add a slit up one and down the other. Glitter the edges and put them together to make a 3D tree.

GLITTER is everywhere in the room. I will have to scrape off the desk with a blade on Monday!

Tomorrow is TU football and then the week begins:

Sunday -Church, make 6 doz cookies, straighten the house!

Monday- Dinner party for 15-20

Tuesday- Chili supper/cookie swap/ bunco second grade teachers.

Wednesday- meeting at BAUMC with bride

Thursday- dinner at Inverness Village

Friday and Sat.- At moms

Sunday- home, Church, SS party

Monday- ??

Tues-Kids Winter program at school

Wed.

Thurs- Christmas parties...

Friday- pull my hair out and clean the room/movie day!

Saturday-- skipping around... school will be out

Through one art project each day at school and you get crazy teacher...

Brrrrr / Moey

Brrrrr, Mr. Winter has come to Okla. Its misty and cold out today. Well probably not as cold as some of you that live in the north, but for me, puttin on gloves and a coat is cold.

We went to Church this morning and then to see son #2's office! I am sooooooo proud of that boy. He works for a gas exploration company in Tulsa, and does something with the disbursement/% of what people receive $$$ from their land. ????? I think. Then we saw L's office too. Its a few floors away from son #2's in the BOK Tower. Then off to our fav place to eat..... Hideway Pizza. I had pizza of the Gods. yummmmmmmy.

This afternoon was quite lazy until I decided Moey needed a bath. She smelled! Now she smells like lavender and had her toes painted red and for the pic, I put a boy in her hair. Son #1 will crap , when he sees her. she is becoming a very high maintenance dog. She will of course go to the groomer before Christmas, but this is only until them. Can you see her red toes... Its fiesta red!

Back to work tomorrow. It will be busy for the next 3 weeks. Christmas unit, Gingerbread unit and I'm not sure what we will do the last week. Maybe Polar Express.

I needed to go up today and work, but I will get up in the morning and go and stay after tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, I almost forgot.... I will put my Christmas jewelry on tomorrow. It will be 1/2 off sale. I also have some necklaces too! I will send those out ASAP, since they are already made. Get out you checkbooks and get ready to write!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving....
I hope your turkey is in the oven and your pies are baked. My tiny turkey- white meat only is baking, the red velvet cheesecake is made, the sweet potatoes are cooked- not doctored up yet and I am on a roll this morning.
I have talked to son #1 this morning and he is decorating his house in Frisco, phase one of the 3 phase program. Ahhh, I do remember those days he would decorate here. Many trips to get "just a few more light, Mom"! I have called the fam in Ponca, but NO ONE IS ANSWERING!!!!. sigh, sigh, sigh.

Christmas stuff is coming out of the attic today. I just cant put it up before Thanksgiving, I dont know why, just tradition I guess. Hubs is out putting up the fence, son #2 is on his way and I am so thankful for my family, at least the ones that answer the phone, life is great. What are you thankful for?

Oh, did you all see Oprah yesterday. It was the big give away. Well, I bet those people were perplexed. Oprah had a lot of things that dont cost a lot. Wow, I got some great ideas. Now, my fam is all meeting in OKC for Christmas. We will do something that wont cost them a thing, I will make small boxes for everyone. They will also get some cards with: I love you because... or I am thankful for you because... etc. They have to fill one out for each person and put it in their box. I wanted to do a "take away " gift exchange. Whats that called? anyway we are spicing up Christmas. Lets have a bit more meaning.

I better get to the kitchen and done my apron! The boys will be hungry in a bit. Then a few power naps and off to Utica Square Lights On! That is our family tradition. We have even gone in the snow and sleet!

Have a great holiday and get up early and shop till you drop! I am finished! I got most everything online and its so fun to get those boxes at my door! Except for the stocking stuffers. Ahhh Target, I love that store for stockings.

Holidaze....

Oh my, where do I begin to ring in this holiday season. I am cooking for our family tomorrow and making a red velvet cheesecake today. Turkey/ham and all the stuff tomorrow. I have a turkey thats white meat only!!! yippee, the ham is from the Hamlet, so yummo!


Then I need for hubs and son to get down the tree, and "stuff". We are having Christmas in OKC with the whole fam damily, but I am having some functions here and need to do some decorating. hmmmmmm., I would love to do everything in silver and red this year. Maybe the dollar store has some cheap stuff!!!!

My mom is not one to always put up the tree, I know exactly what you are thinking, NO TREE. Well I am coming so it better be up... MOM! What would Christmas be without the decorations up MOM! We wont have any little ones around except for my cousins little boys. I miss those sleepy little eyes getting up at Christmas and running to the tree to see what Santa brought. I dont think my boys 24 and 26 yrs and my niece and nephew, 24 and 28yrs will be running in to find what Santa brought. WE NEED SOME BABIES. But only 1 is married and I would just rather that we all go the route of marriage before children. That seems to be a though of the past, you know the marriage before children thingy. Guess I am just old fashion, I like that scenario best.

I need to go to some laundry, tidy up the house, run to Hamlet, Target and maybe the $ store.

Thunderstorm are in my brain....

No its not a self portrait, but this is how I feel.................................

This had been a very LONG WEEK at school. Everything that could go wrong has. I know in my head , (if the thunderstorms go away), that next week will be better. Well, we only have 2 days. Monday is Stone Soup day and Tuesday is Thanksgiving prep day and decorate for Christmas.

I woke up with a sinus headache and it only got worse throughout the day. I had toast for breakfast and a Diet DP for lunch so having zip zap no food didn't help. I chowed down on a big fat burger at Red Robin this evening, then off the Hobby Lobby, my supplier for some items.

Tomorrow is the last TU football game. I hope I feel better!!!! I will definitely bundle up.

Thanksgiving will be quiet here. I went to order a ham and turkey from Hamlet today and hubs brought home a flyer about Gilcrease Restaurant Buffet for thanksgiving. Its only $20 per person and much cheaper than me cooking. BUT son #2 is really counting on lunch at home and lounging in sloppy clothes while watching football and sleeping on the couch.. son #1 is working on Wed and again on Fri., so he will stay in Tx with some friends.. waa, waa, waa. But I certainly dont want him driving late on Wed and turning around and leaving again on Thurs afternoon. But this momma will MISS MY BOY!!! Love em you know!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its late and I am soooooooooooooooooo tired. I just want to crawl in a hole and suck my thumb, but I will settle for a bed with a down comforter and my fluffy pillow and 1 muscle relaxer. Yep that sound like a winner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keepin busy

My heavenly daze! I am having some orders... enough to keep me busy and the pocketbook full. This weekend I am going to upload some Christmas jewelry to sell. Be lookin....
Whew, the weather has gotten so cold. I am not sure whether to keep Moey in or out. I don't want her to get cold. We don't have a dog house on the patio. She does have a snuggle blanket. Hmmm, whats the weather when you keep your doggy in the house??

Sat is our last TU football game. Its an afternoon game, so it wont be too cold.

Then 2 days at school, I AM SO READY! The kiddos are WILD !!!!! I mean really WILD. Its all I can to to teach and referee. They are wearing me "plum out"! I hope to make pumpkin pie in a cup tomorrow for our Fri cooking activity, if they can behave in the morning. hmmmm, we will see.

Not much other news. We will put up Christmas stuff next week. I have a couple of parties at the house, do I need to fru fru up a bit. Christmas will be in OKC at Mommas house. All the fam will be there.

Off to bed... I am gettin a head cold or sinus crap.

I have made myself sick

I bought popcorn from a boy in our neighborhood. I am the only one that eats it. So, I told hubs to take it to work for the 'guys' to eat. Well, its still here and I have eaten almost all of the caramel type. I have chowed right down and am sick to my stomach. I have to go put it in his truck to hide it.

Tomorrow is SATURDAY... yippee. It was a long week. We are off to a TU BB game. Yep, its that season again. I think we will overlap with football a few weeks. But, there is also a 'free trade' craft show in Tulsa tomorrow that I want to go to before the BB game. We are also going to Atwoods to buy a generator... just in case we are without electricity for 11 days again this winter. NOT AGAIN IN THIS HOUSE. The generator may be my Christmas gift. hahahah

Oh my heavenly days

I decided to update my blog for the holiday. Now we all know I am not really very literate at blog thingys. I was not raised in the computer world and have just stepped out and jumped in myself since the boys are gone. So, I went to a site, downloaded and did all the "stuff". I lost my little sidebars things! So I have been putting them back up as I can find them. I am sure there are faster and easier ways to do this.

But... what do you think about the new look??? Oh, dont look really close at the header until I figure out how to center the words and picture. I am sure its simple, but I dont know how yet.

Today was a beautiful day her in Cville. I had a funeral this morning. A dear friend of the family was 81 and lived a wonderful life. I will miss Doris very much. She ws very helpful to me when I first married and moved to Cville 29 yrs ago, She kept me sane in the this small town. She guided me through some obstacles! I will miss you Doris Schultheiss! I will see you soon in heaven.

Tomorrow is my appt with the surgeon at TLC. I am so iffy on the whole enhancement thing. It wont cost anything, but you only get one pair of eyes. More about that tomorrow.

I have a couple of orders to get out as soon as my finger gets better. Cuts and flux don't mix.

Cutting edge

You know those little white handle knives you can get from Pampered Chef? You know the ones that are about $5.00 and we just love. Will I had a little issue with one last night. I probably could have used a couple of stitches. But, I was in my jammies and I didnt want to get dressed. So I butterflied it and put a bandaid on it. I kept on bleeding, so I wrapped it in gauze and of course couldnt find any tape! Decorative duct tape works great! hahaha I am such a mess with sharp things.

Business is great. I have had 3 orders form the show in OKC and a few more from other areas. I am staying as busy as I want to be right now. Especially with a cut finger. Cuts and flux dont work well together. ouch!!!

Better go, I need a big fat bath and I went to Bath and Body this afternoon. Hmmmmm.

Well yes, thank you for asking... I did much better at this craft show that at the rummage sale. I made QUITE A BIT of fun extra spending money!!

I have about 50 pieces left over, so I will categorize them and put those on my website and/or blog. I made a bunch of chunky beaded necklaces, but they didn't sell much! hmmm. Ill take everything to school tomorrow and see if I can sell some there.

I don't think I will do much in the way of craft show, except this one at mom's church. Then I don't know. I want to keep it as a hobby, not a job. So I want to make things for people and just do it that way.

The weekend is just beautiful here today. The air is crisp and the sun is out. I need to pick up the house for the house cleaners coming tomorrow. Hubs doesn't get it that you have to pick up before. Oh well, don't you all pick up first???????

I better get going, I have lots to do and I want to also give myself a little pedi before bed tonight.

Oh, I have an appt with TLC again this week. I can have "enhancement" to both eyes for life. I can't see well without contacts or my glasses. BUT, I got a HUGE floater the first time. My optometrist told me this couldn't happen again because they don't use the "pressure" thingy, they just reopen the slit. HMMMMM lots of thought a prayers about this. You only get on set of eyes, Target doesn't carry them. Pray this week with me that I may have clarity in my decision.

Alive and Kickin

No, momma I am not sick and the computer is not dead... We have been gone every night and every Saturday. I have spent Sunday cleaning and doing laundry, etc. BUT, I have a housekeeper coming on Monday. YIPPEE! I am so glad. She will deep clean once a month!

I am off again this weekend to OKC to do a craft show at mom's church...Church of the Servant- OKC. Come on out if you live in the area. Mention my blog and I will give you 15% off.

The weather has finally turned cool. I love the chilly nights and the cuddle weather in my flannel jammies and chenille bathrobe. hmmmm so cozy.

I got my Smart Board installed at school today. It is way cool ! I am going to have fun with it tomorrow morning. I have spentabout 30 minutes with it today.

Moey the grand dog went to the vet on Wednesday. This trip was a mere $ 192.00!! Yes, that's right $192! holy crap, where is the copay? i about crapped out. She has a staff infection. The vet said she was pale. how can a black and white dog be pale?????? I think her gums were not a rosy pink and her nose was warm. So after 1 shot for the infection, 10 days of antibiotic, 6 mos of flea/heart worm pills and another 2 times per week for 4 week pills, 1 blood test, we got to come home. I can think of a lot of stuff to purchase for $192.00. Good gosh. She had to have a "nerve pill" last night during the storm. I held her for 2 hours and then I was so sleepy. She wouldn't calm down,so I gave her knock out pill and put her in her bed. Geeezzzzeee the life of that pooch!

Guess that's about all the update. Oh yea, the tickets are on sale for the annual Oprah type give away at Battle Creek Church in Broken Arrow, I went last year and we had so much fun and go some wonderful give aways. If you are in the area look it up on the web. Its a good girls night out,

Better get to bed, tomorrow is work at school. massage at 4, pack and go to OKC, Craft show on Sat, come home and Church on Sunday.... back to the same cycle.......

The craft show that wasn't!

Ok, sit down with your cup of cider, I'll wait. Ok, now here we go.





I got to Norman with my friend Sheila and we found the Fairgrounds. We unloaded and walked into the consignment sale. NO HIGH END HERE! This was maybe a high end garage sale. I guess I was expecting it to be like the one at the Tulsa Just Between Friends . Nope. So, I get my booth ready and looking cute, see how cute it looks:

So, anyway, its 10:00 and a few ladies are coming in after they drop off their kids. A few more come, probably about 20 all day, maybe 30. They are looking for bargains and so not looking for my kind of jewelry. So, I sold 2 and though maybe this will pick up after lunch. NOPE I cold a few more to the Mary Kay ladies and the girls next to me , www.mellyroo.com. Then, that was it for the day. My cousin, who I never see came by and thats the only reason we stayed until 6pm. The event was over at 8 pm each night. So we went back to Moms, and drinks some yummo wine and enjoyed our little selves!

Fast forward to day 2. We stopped at Target and got a few new items: and cuuuute black dress for me to wear to a TU dinner for donors on Thursday for $19.00 ! Go fig. We then went back to the event and stayed until noon. During this time the Mary Kay lady gave me a facial and we laughed and joked for a while. We loaded up an d went to the OKC Affair of the Heart. GOOD GOSH, that is sooooo huge. It makes Tulsa's look pitiful. Its in 7, yes 7 buildings!!!! WE made every building and had a ball! We ate a yummy strawberry crepe, shopped bought some stuff and had so much fun. I met a lady from Wichita that makes the same jewelry. Hers is PERFECT! She gave me some pointers and her email. If I run up to Wichita she will teach me so interesting shortcuts. So, anyway we had fun and I made enough to pay for the booth rental. Whatever. So I will take the things I on hand and go to my moms church in OKC for their big show and that will be the end of shows.

I have always said I wouldnt do craft shows. They are so iffffffy. I love to make thing and want to keep it a hobby and do it when I want to. I dont like the people looking and being judgmental. Its just hurts my little feelings! Yes, it sure does. I think too, I dont rely on this for income money. SO I dont want it enough to spend as much time and energy to make tons of product....

pumpkin poop and you have been boo'd

I am having a great Fall Break! yep, I am. I played on the computer till noon in my jammies drinkin coffee. I came across the cutest little things to do for Halloween. I went to the store and got alll the stuff to pull this off!This is the paper that will go in the boo basket with some goodies. You leave it on the porch and the person then puts a sign on their door and boo's 2 more people. Wont this be fun!

You put this sign on your door and then people know you have been boo'd! Its a secret, shhhhh.

The I found this little cute idea... you just add candy corn. Got that too. I also got stuff to make Witches Brew. You put a packet of cider, 1 twizzler, and gummie worms in a package and send it with a cute witch thing SOOOOO cute. I cant wait to get started.

I have a wedding tomorrow morning then TU FB in the evening. I hope to get my booing done in the morning..

I just love to wake up leisurely and drink my coffee on the back porch and wear my jammies until 10:00 or longer and watch HGTV.
Yesterday was an errand day and boy did I get a lot finished.

I went to the cuuuutest little Teacher Store in Owasso, I got a few books and a cute key chain. I wanted a bag with my initial on it, so cute, but I just decided I have 2000000 bags, no more for a while.

Bunco... I was a sub for a friend. you pay $10. and the winner gets $$$, guess who was the winner, moi! yep I had 3 bunco's.

decorate a bit with the pumpkins. I bought a corn stalk thingy at Reasors and crammed it in the Jeep. I had to sweep that poor thing out.
I got out all the fall/winter clothes a washed them and put them in the nice clean closet! I washed the down comforter too. I washed it in the Tyler Candle clothes wash stuff, heavenly!!!!

I finished 100 pieces of jewelry to take to Norman. I took pictures of them but the batteries are dead and I can't find new ones in this house. I even tried to rob them from another battery powered item. I am not sure about this venture. Its a consignment sale at Norman. There are only about 7 vendors and so I cant really call it a craft show. hmmmm, I may be hawkin my "stuff" on my blog! I really had fun making things and have lots of ideas for new stuff too. A teacher friend is going with me, we will have fun no matter what I sell. If you are in the Norman/ OKC area come see me Thur-Sat at the Norman Fairgrounds.
The Affair of the Heart is in OKC this weekend. I could just selll my stuff out of the back of the Jeep.... hahahaha


I made chili tonight and Lance and Laura came for chili, Frito's and pumpkin pie. yummo.

Yes, lets face it... I am a wus.
Last week hubs decided we would go to the SMU/TU football game in Dallas. So , he said lets ride the "Golden Hurricane" bus. It will be great. No driving, no packing and unpacking.... so OK we did. The way down was a piece of cake. I snoozed and woke up to the midway between Tulsa and OKC. What the heck, seems they needed to changed drivers in Norman. Ok, grab the book and have another snooze. We arrived at SMU and had a great dinner at the tent and went to the game. Good game too!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I am rambling... We got on the bus to come home at 10:30 pm. A wreck on 75 N. so we got moving north toward Tulsa around 11:15. We tossed and rolled on each other trying to get comfortable. Not happening! Hubs could nto sleep because I was all over him. I couldnt not sleep either. We got home at 4:00 am. Both of us slept until 11ish. Got up, ate breakfast and fell asleep on the couch until 4:00 pm. Off to Red Robin and back home to bed. I am still tired.


Fall break is here.
We has parent/teacher conference last night and tonight, arggggghhhh I am glad its over.
TMJ dentist, nails, laundry, Sephora, and some general errands and finishh jewelry. What a great 5 day I will have.

Dog days

You are so going to need to grab a chair for this post...

Moey went to the doggy beauty shop this afternoon for a little grooming. I'll be darn if that girls didnt get the full spa treatment. I took her to the Vet here in town as we have been banned from Pets Mart. You remember the whole shaving Moey episode in June? Anyway, back to the Vet, I took her in and I was filling out forms and looking at the Menu of services. I noticed things like toe nail polish, tooth brushing, flea wash, etc. Then I came across..... "blueberry facial", what is a dog getting a blueberry facial for???? For cryin out loud! So I asked what it was all about and they do give them a facial. It exfoliated her skin and leaves her smelling fresh and clean! So I asked if I could schedule one too? hahaha, You know a 2 for 1, only not on the dog! I left her and went to Tulsa. In the mean time,they call and we found out she needed a group of shots and a general checkup from the vet. So, hubs picks her up and brings her home. I got home later, read over the $88.00 bill and noticed a "no charge" for the facial. They did it complimentary! heaven to betsy! The dog has had a facial. Talk about pet pampering!!!! She also has a bows in her hair. Well, one bow, the other is in her bed.

I have misplaced all of my Cardinal T shirts. We wear them on Friday's at school with jeans. I cant find any of them. So I was a Hobby Lobby this afternoon and got a red t shirt and those stick on/iron on jewels... easy to iron, NOT, I have spent 1 hour trying to get those darn things on without peeling back off!!!!! I finally had to cut up different letters to make an N and an E.

I also made a TU one to wear to SMU game in Dallas this weekend. That didn't work out either!

On the way from Owasso to BAUMC for a wedding meeting, my tummy was growling and the Jeep turned right into that bakery behind Rons burgers... you know the one called D's Bakery I think. Anyway, I love, love their lemon bar. I had that and a diet DP on the way, then came home and gave hubs two choices of dinner. He didnt care for either of them, so we went to Jalapenos! yummo. I was full after half of my dinner, hint: lemon square, so I have lunch too!

Tomorrow is Thursday and the yippee Friday. I am finishing my jewelry and have to wait for my lead free solder to get here. Hobby Lobby's is not 100% lead free. So I will finish next week during Fall Break. We have parent/teacher conf on Mon/Tues night then off the rest of the week!!!! But after dentist and mammogram appts., I need to get out Fall clothes and do some Fall cleaning.
